FC Barcelona faces a significant challenge in their pursuit of Mohamed Salah

If Mohamed Salah doesn’t come to an agreement with Liverpool for a contract renewal this summer, he will become a free agent and could significantly impact the transfer market.

The Egyptian striker is on FC Barcelona’s radar and has also attracted interest from the Saudi Arabian league.

With Deco, their sporting director, FC Barcelona is mapping out a strategy to bolster the project led by Hansi Flick.

It’s no surprise that Barcelona has focused on the strategic market for free agents for various reasons.

As a result, the prospect of signing Mohamed Salah, who is 32 years old and whose contract expires this summer, has gained considerable momentum.

He remains a key player for Liverpool, serving as one of the cornerstones of their attack, and would provide a remarkable boost to the Catalan side.

Al-Hilal is also keen on Mohamed Salah

As anticipated, Barcelona isn’t the only club vying for the striker’s signature.

According to talkSPORT, Saudi Arabia is still very much interested in the Egyptian star.

Furthermore, Al-Hilal is reportedly planning to make a move, potentially looking to terminate Neymar’s contract.

The Riyadh club may consider parting ways with the Brazilian, who has been plagued by injuries, in order to offer a lucrative deal to the Liverpool star.

The Reds are expected to make a final push to secure their striker, with Salah now a prominent target for both FC Barcelona and Al-Hilal.
