Brazilian Endrick is unable to understand why Carlo Ancelotti barely gives him any minutes.
Although he has shown his abilities whenever he has stepped onto the pitch, the Brazilian has been relegated to a secondary role in these recent Real Madrid games.
He has only managed to accumulate a mere 107 minutes on the field so far.
Each time he has played, he has demonstrated his skill and strength, scoring two goals and providing one assist.
However, he has yet to earn the full trust of his coach, Carlo Ancelotti.
The team is currently struggling, largely due to the attackers’ lack of scoring, yet the Italian coach has not opted to utilize Endrick more frequently.
In fact, the Taguatinga native has not seen any action in the last five matches for the Chamartín club.
Concern for Endrick
According to OK Diario, Endrick is struggling to comprehend his situation.
While he acknowledges that, as a newcomer, he needs to earn his place gradually, he finds it hard to accept that Ancelotti hasn’t called upon him in games where the team clearly needs more offensive firepower.
“The Brazilian striker is baffled by his minimal role in Carlo Ancelotti’s plans, especially given the pressing need for goals that the team has faced recently and his proven ability to score” the newspaper reports.
Nevertheless, Endrick remains composed. Unlike Turkish player Arda Güler, who is contemplating a loan move in January, the South American is determined to stay with the squad.
He believes that once he receives the necessary confidence, he will break through and become a key player.
