Éder Militao’s recent injury has sparked renewed speculation about Real Madrid’s interest in one of Europe’s most promising defenders, Dutchman Jorrel Hato.

In recent days, names like Aymeric Laporte, Sergio Ramos, António Silva, Mario Hermoso, Cristian Romero, and Jonathan Tah have all been mentioned in connection with Real Madrid.

Following the news of Éder Militao’s serious injury, the buzz around the potential signing of a new centre-back at the Santiago Bernabéu has intensified.

Among the defenders being discussed is Jorrel Hato, a player who has previously been linked to the Chamartín club.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Real Madrid is keeping a close watch on the development of the talented Ajax Amsterdam player, who has made 81 official appearances, scoring four goals and providing seven assists.

Jorrel Hato is a Future option

Currently, it seems that the club from Concha Espina is not planning to pursue this signing in the upcoming winter transfer window.

However, given Hato’s talent and youth—he’s just 18 years old—he could be a very appealing option for the future.

With a contract in force until June 2028, the possible signing of Jorrel Hato would involve tough negotiations with Ajax, a team that could well demand more than €30 million, and overcoming tough competition from several Premier League and Serie A teams that are also considering signing him.
