Ruben Amorim Targets 4 Key Players in Man United Revamp

With the official confirmation of his appointment as Manchester United’s new manager, discussions about potential changes under Rúben Amorim at Old Trafford are heating up, particularly regarding player departures.

Erik ten Hag’s tenure at Manchester United has come to an end after two and a half seasons.

Despite the team’s potential, they failed to consistently perform at the expected level, and just a few days ago, the Dutchman’s time with the club concluded, having secured only two minor trophies.

Taking over the managerial role will be Portuguese coach Ruben Amorim, who is seen as the key to redirecting a club that has struggled for far too long.

Manchester United is far from the dominant force it once was in both England and Europe.

A wave of exits

Now that his appointment is official, the media is already speculating about the changes Amorim intends to implement upon his arrival.

While several players are being considered for recruitment, the focus on departures will also be significant in the upcoming months.

A notable example comes from teamTALK, which reports that Ruben Amorim has identified four underperforming players from Ten Hag’s reign.

These include Brazilian players Casemiro (32) and Antony (23), Danish midfielder Christian Eriksen (32), and Swedish defender Victor Lindelöf (30).
